Coach RM

    I am a single, retired Physical Education teacher and football coach. I taught Physical Education and coached in the state of Wisconsin for 37 years.  I was inducted into the Wisconsin Football Coach’s Association Hall of Fame in 2000.

My father graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BA degree in Journalism. With five children and a wife to support and jobs very scarce at the end of world war ll; he returned to his parents dairy farm in Northern Wisconsin. So even though I grew up in the isolated north wood, we always had magazines like, U.S. News and World Report, National Geographic and the Milwaukee Journal paper. All of us children were encouraged to read and write. I too went to the University of Wisconsin and became a coach and Physical Education Teacher. Upon retiring I have taken up writing like my Dad use to do.

   I have written several motivational stories as well as stories about growing up on a dairy farm in northern Wisconsin. I have used these stories in my  public motivational speaking and in sermons while filling in for my pastor at church.
